Fundraising Honor Roll

Carl Lim was diagnosed with Lymphoepithelial-like Carcinoma of the Parotid Gland (LELC) in May 2015 and began receiving care at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance with his Team Carl including Drs. Jay Liao, Cristina Rodriguez, and the late Eduardo Mendez in the Thoracic, Head, and Neck Service, along with countless APPs, RNs, and staff. He continuously received treatment, with the most recent being a Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TIL) Clinical Trial in October 2020 with the Bezos Family Immunotherapy Clinic, where his wife, Sue, works as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator.

Carl was a retired Software Engineer at Amazon.com, and he was passionate about photography, comic books, Broadway musicals, and world travel. But most of all, Carl cherished family, his friendships, making people laugh with his quirky sense of humor, and helping others unconditionally and without hesitation. His faithful dog, Milo, was never far from him, even accompanying him to work while he was at Amazon, capturing the hearts of anyone with a treat.
