Tumor Paint gets go-ahead for first U.S. clinical trial

The FDA has given a green light for the first U.S. trial of Tumor Paint BLZ-100, a molecule derived from scorpion venom that illuminates cancer cells. Fred Hutch’s Dr. Jim Olson led its discovery and development.
