The President’s Cancer Panel, an independent advisory group, has called for “urgent action” to address the high cost of cancer drugs. Fred Hutch President and Director Dr. Gary Gilliland and Hutch health economist Dr. Scott Ramsey contributed their expertise to the report, issued in March. “We’re not just racing to find cures, we’re racing to find ways to lower the cost of cures,” Gilliland said.
