Dear Fred Hutch supporter,
You’re invited to our next virtual Donor Town Hall on Wednesday, April 8, from noon to 1 p.m. PDT. I will be joined by Drs. Stephanie Lee and Steve Pergam. We’ll share updates on Fred Hutch’s COVID-19 efforts and answer more of your questions.
Dr. Lee is associate director of our Clinical Research Division and leads the long-term follow-up of our transplant patients at our clinical care partner, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She holds the David and Patricia Giuliani/Oliver Press Endowed Chair in Cancer Research and also serves as president of the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Pergam is an infectious disease expert at Fred Hutch and medical director of infection prevention at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. He and his team have played a critical role advising policymakers in ways to protect patients, caregivers, and the community.
Please RSVP by Monday, April 6. After you register for the event, you’ll receive instructions for how to join the Town Hall by computer, tablet, or phone.
We’re fortunate to have experts in virology and infectious disease at Fred Hutch who were able to step forward at the first sign of the new coronavirus in Washington state and even earlier in China. I look forward to sharing their expertise and their efforts to confront this crisis with our community of supporters. Please feel free to share this invitation with family or friends who may also be interested.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Dr. Thomas J. Lynch Jr.
President and Director
Raisbeck Endowed Chair
