About Me

I'm a biopharma executive for nearly two decades, where I've seen medical treatment, alongside the unrelenting work of physicians, nurses and caregivers significantly increase the chance of surviving cancer.

I'm also Gladys' grandaughter and Lois' neice. Because of cancer, my kids won’t get to learn from those ladies how to be tough, smart and strong. They won't teach them how to split wood kindling, challenge the status quo at work, or how to sew a wedding dress.

Why I'm Doing This

Research into treatments and cures means more years of good life, so I’m going to the top of Kilimajaro in 2019 with a group of healthcare executives and investors to raise money for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. The "Hutch" is improving the outlook for people with cancer, including with advances in immunotherapy.
