It is hard to believe that it has now been 7 years this August since I was first diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. As devastating as that news was, I’ve enjoyed so many blessings since. Our grandchildren are adorable and give us so much joy. And we are excited to welcome our 4th grandchild in August. (Natalie and Chris are expecting a little girl). I’m on a chemo break right now, to allow my system the chance to rejuvenate, so am presently in that “wait and see” mode, which is a little unnerving. Living with cancer is truly a “wild ride” – for myself, as well as those I love. Dan and I are planning to join our kids and grandchildren again this year as we participate in the 5K Obliteride walking event and would appreciate your support. Thanks to you, “Team Frei” has now raised over $194,000 for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in the past 6-years. Whether you can be a part of our team, or continue to support our efforts through your donations, we know that this money is helping to find cures for cancer. Please join me in this fight and tell others about Obliteride, where 100% of your donation goes toward research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, whose mission is to end all cancers by 2025 (a date that continues to be ever closer).
