Obliteride is here, and it's year SEVEN!! I will always ride to honor and in loving memory of my dear friend Susan Agid. Also, my beautiful mother-in-law Evelyn Charlot, brother-in-law Rick Charlot, friends Casey Peterson and Lynn Crutcher, and for everyone else affected by this awful desease. This year, I am dedicating my fundraising efforts to one of my most loyal supporters, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Of all unfairness in this desease - this it is.
I am committed to riding every year for as long as I can, and until a cure is found. And this is ride #7. Lucky #7! WOULDN'T IT BE NICE THAT THIS YEAR BE THE LUCKY YEAR TO END CANCER? We CAN do it.
I will be riding with friends Chris and Taine Wilton, on the 100-mile route, with the extra challenge of adding the climb up Tiger Mountain. Piece of cake - bring on those long climbs! NOTHING is as steep or challenging as having cancer, and we need to do what we can to end that climb.
Every year Fred Hutch is getting closer to finding answers and a cure! Your donation will be what it takes to get them there. It DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
So please, consider making a donation to support my ride. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to cancer research at Fred Hutch; we CAN make a direct impact on research to save lives faster.
