4 years ago, in September of 2015, my mother passed away from complications of her Hodgkin Lymphoma treatment, 40 years ago. 2 days ago, a dear friend and patient passed away from Hodgkin lymphoma. These people are my driving force.
My mom inspired me to pursue a career in cancer care and research, and I am committed to making this a lifelong pursuit. I ride in Obliteride in hopes of better, less toxic treatments for cancer. It is vital that we fund this type of research and improve cancer treatments for all.
I am a clinical research in multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias. Multiple myeloma is an aggressive neoplasm, and even though treatments have improved outcomes, many patients do not benefit from the better therapies, and pass away far too quickly.
I am riding to help fight multiple myeloma! I am riding for all my patients and their loved ones.
