MY RIDE STARTS HERE.

This August will be my third year participating in Obliteride to help raise funds for cancer research through the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Instead of riding this year, my family and I are going to walk the route!  It has been so amazing to have the kids and Eric cheering me on every year that I wanted to get them even more involved.  When I proposed the idea to them, Elliot asked, “does that mean I get to raise money for Fred Hutch? Yay! Let’s do It!” Gotta love this family!

As always, we do this in hopes of helping to find cures to the cancers that have plagued my mother, my dearest friends, and my friends' children.  Cancer doesn’t stop taking  people from our lives, so I can’t stop trying to find a way to stop cancer. This is a little thing we can do to help eradicate a really big disease.  Please join us in raising money for cancer research.

I don't think any of us have been untouched by cancer.  Wouldn't it be amazing if we could think about cancer as being a disease of the past, instead of worrying about which of our loved ones will be effected next?

I believe the scientists at Fred Hutch can make this happen! Fred Hutch is learning more about cancer prevention, diagnostics and treatment and Obliteride can help us get to cures faster.

More than 300 labs and projects are working hard to save the lives of people all over the world by conducting innovative, high-impact cancer research.

Please join us in this effort to put cancer in its place, behind us.

Walk with us, donate to our walk, and tell others about Obliteride. Thanks for your time and support!  Michelle, Eric, Elliot & Juliahna
