First target ($500) met. This means I'll be karting at least 25 miles in August. Next target: Raise $1,000 and I'll commit to a 50 mile endurance karting day.
Earlier detection. More precise targeting. Better treatments.
Imagine a world where we didn't wait for growths. Imagine one where we could pinpoint cancer and, rather than taking a hand grenade approach, we could treat just that. We're not there yet but we're getting closer. Your contribution to cancer research will help us get there faster.
It's estimated that 38.4% of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes. As life expectancy increases, so too will this estimate. Directly or indirectly, this impacts all of us.
Why specifically donate to The Hutch? Not only do they have an incredible track record of innovations coming from their research, they have also demonstrated an incredible amount of responsibility for the money they receive. More of your money will go to research when you donate to The Hutch.
This year, I'm doing what's known as a Virtual Obliteride. Instead of doing a 25, 50, or 100 mile bike ride, I'll be covering the distance in a go-kart. In order to raise awareness with a new audience, I'll be working on a custom paintjob for my helmet and some educational posters that will be posted where I drive. Who knows, maybe I'll get enough interest to start a charity kart race in the future.
If you want to drive with me on August 10, sign as a a Virtual Obliterider and let's head out there.
If you're a corporate donor and would like some ad space on my helmet or the educational poster, let's get in touch. https://www.linkedin.com/in/namtran/
Please join me in contributing whatever amount you're comfortable gifting to this incredible organization.
