Last year I rode for my mom, who "felt poorly" a few years ago – and three weeks later died of pancreatic cancer.
I’m riding this year's Obliteride for my friend Jamie, who was recently treated successfully for lymphoma at Seattle's Fred Hutch.
For me, believing in the Hutch is no abstraction. I'm grateful I can hang out with my dear friend – even go riding with her – because of the superb cancer care right in our backyard. Thank you, Fred Hutch.
Please help me support cancer research at the Hutch by donating to this year's Obliteride. It's simple to donate online right from this page.
