Cancer threw the biggest sucker punch possible this year, and took my divine mom away from us way too soon, and way too fast.
Cancer has always been on my shit list, and the list of folks I'm riding for keeps getting longer, and the people it takes keep getting closer. And sadly, half of all men and one third of all women in the U.S. will get cancer in their lifetime. That just doesn't work for me.
Given that I'm not a researcher or doctor, the only thing I can really do is raise money for the folks who are those things, and it seems one of the best ways to do that is to ride 100 miles on my bike.
Please donate to the link below, and help me give cancer the big ol' middle finger from my bike in August. Last year your donations blew away my expectations, and this year I know it will be even bigger.
Hey Cancer, you took my mom, I'm coming for you.
In case you didn't know...
