We are committing to Obliteride this August because we believe research is the fastest path to curing cancer, and we also believe the team at Fred Hutch can get us there.

WOW! Last year's fundraising effort was off the charts! After another fantastic effort with Debi joining the "Team" last year I've decided to ride again this year for my 4th Obliteride where 100% of all funds donated will be used for cancer research. This year both of my siblings will be joining me and rumors of Uncles and Aunts as well!
This is the organization where I received my stem-cell transplant 15 years ago! They are close to curing some forms of cancer including AML, which I was diagnosed with nearly 16 years ago. New cancer fighting therapies are becoming more common and treatments such as chemotherapy may only be used sparingly!
Plain and simple, at some point cancer will impact your life. "They" now say that half of all men and one third of all women in the U.S. will get cancer in their lifetime. Think of all those families and friends that will (or have!) witness a loved one fighting for their life - parents, children, spouses, neighbors, etc.
We've chosen to do something about it. We are going ALL IN and joining the Obliteride community to support cancer research at Fred Hutch.
More than 300 labs and projects are working hard to save the lives of people all over the world by conducting innovative, high-impact cancer research. I'm committed to supporting these labs so they can continue saving lives and can do so faster. I am asking you to join me in this fight.
It's time for us to put all types of cancer in its place. Behind us.
Ride with me, donate to my ride and tell others about Obliteride.
