Cancer is so much more then just the tiny cells it takes over.  It's pain and suffering for the person who has it and for all those that love him or her.  Watching multiple myeloma and secondary plasma cell leukemia destroy our father was one of the worst things we as his children could ever have imagined.  His cancer was very aggressive and within 17 months of diagnosis our father was gone.  He was taken from us too young and will miss out on getting to watch all of his grandchildren grow up.  We dont want anyone else to ever have to go through what our father went through.  

Please consider a donation to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in memory of our father, Steve desGarennes. Together, we can make a lasting tribute to him by supporting the Hutch and its mission to end cancer.
